Branding, Web Design, Photography
This design and photography project was done as a part of a pro bono program created in 2020 to help small business owners. The team at Lady Nails
did not have branding established or a website created. To keep the touch of their 20+ years of experience in the industry and their name, I went with the classic hand holding a rose as the icon of the logo but added a modern twist with the font and line
icon style. The website was designed on Squarespace based on the logo style to allow the team to easily update and integrate scheduling if they choose to do so in the future. Photos were taken and edited to customize the gallery.
They key here was to make a clear path to their CTA through ease and transparency. They received an organic 282% increase in likes on their Facebook page. It went from 150 likes to an organic 495 likes and 517 follows on their Facebook page. Their website had 315 visits, 270 unique visitors and less than
40% bounce rate within 5 months.
More importantly, these online intereactions converted to actual sales. The owner recapped that they lost a lot of their former clients due to COVID-19 who was mostly a part of the elder demographics and younger buying power came in every day
since publishing the website. The customers mentioned that they found them through the website.
Proper online presence -> Transparency -> Trust -> Leads -> Sales or Data for Research and Improvement
